TULIPA ‘ARMSCOTE’: A TULIP WITH A STORY

On 16th March 2011, Tulip ‘Armscote' was baptised by Deborah Williams at the ‘Adamas’ Inloophuis at Nieuw-Vennep in the Netherlands. Armscote Manor and Dix Export hope to raise monies for Shipston Home Nursing and Adamas Inloophuis by selling this Tulip.
This beautifully fringed white Tulip is named ‘Armscote’, after Armscote Manor. Deborah raises money in various ways for Shipston Home Nursing, a charity based in Warwickshire, England providing the best quality of life, nursing and care for those experiencing terminal illness. Shipston Home Nursing will provides nursing and respite care within the last three months of life for those who wish to remain in their own home.
Tulipa ‘Armscote’ is being sold in memory of Deborah’s brother Leighton, who died at the age of 48 from cancer. The profits from the sale of this new Tulipa ‘Armscote’ will be donated by Armscote Manor and Dix Export BV to Shipston Home Nursing. Shipston Home Nursing is fully committed to helping sick people and their relatives; and they are dependent on sponsors and donations.

Half of all proceeds from the sale of the bulbs will go to Shipston Home Nursing in memory of Deborah’s brother Leighton and half to Adamas House in Holland.
